- Manages EMEA benefits programs including statutory and non-statutory retirement, pension, medical, leave-of-absence, and other related programs. Ensures the required policies, reporting and documentation, contract negotiation, and legal compliance to maintain a competitive benefit offering for employees.
- Manages a team of five Benefit Specialists to administer EMEA benefits programs. Provides coaching, training and development to the Benefits team.
- Works directly with employees to ensure effective enrollment and continued coverage in local benefit programs. Designs and/or coordinates communications strategies and programs to ensure full enrollment and participation in benefits offerings. Assists employees in the successful resolution of benefits issues, payments, claims disputes, etc. Solicits and coordinates help from local HR/Finance staff to effectively communicate with employees in the variety of languages required.
- Works with outside service providers including government agencies, insurance brokers, benefits providers, systems vendors, etc. to establish and maintain effective benefits programs. Recommends benefits enhancements, cost containment strategies, and long-range objectives for the benefits programs. Oversees country-specific program enrollment processes, benefit system upgrades, interaction with Employee Central, and other benefit projects.
- Interprets complex laws, regulations, policies related to benefits, and serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for leave programs and with applicable country state laws.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
- 5+ years of related experience in employee benefits and benefits/HR administration and legislation.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience of a benefits team.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in employee benefits administration.
- Certifications helpful but not required.
- Ability to conduct presentations

- Interprets complex laws, regulations and policies related to benefits and employment law that may be unique to each country served

- Computer skills with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
