We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Enterprise Architect to support our customers' project with design and execution, e.g. a critical transition project migrating VMware-based products to a VMware private cloud and Microsoft Azure.. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, storage, backup, and network technologies. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex IT projects across multiple cloud and on-premise environments.
Lead the architectural design, planning, and implementation of the migration from VMware-based infrastructure to a hybrid environment (VMware private cloud + Microsoft Azure)
Analyze, design, and optimize enterprise architectures to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability during and after the migration.
Oversee integration and management of infrastructure components including EMC/Netapp storage, backup solutions, and network configurations
Collaborate closely with business units and IT teams to capture technical requirements and translate them into actionable architectural plans
Act as the Enterprise Architecture authority for major transition projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and adherence to architectural standards
Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud adoption, migration, and ongoing enterprise architecture
Prepare and present architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps for diverse stakeholders
Provide guidance on SD-WAN solutions (Meraki preferred) and other network-related migration considerations

What you will need for successful work

At least 10 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture.
Proven expertise in VMware infrastructure (vSphere, vCloud, NSX) and Microsoft Azure (certifications preferred)
Solid knowledge of EMC storage systems, backup solutions, and migration strategies
Experience with enterprise networking, including SD-WAN (Meraki experience is a plus)
Adequate knowledge of relevant methodologies (TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, Prince2, etc.)
Experience in providing professional guidance within complex IT projects and working with diverse stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of creating and maintaining architecture documentation
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
