About the Role:Your role within HARMAN will be of paramount importance. You are responsible for ensuring that the raw materials required for production are available in the right place at the right time. You will continuously cooperate with suppliers and representatives of other departments, stakeholders, you react proactively to dynamically changing circumstances so the supply chain and production processes can proceed without obstacles. We expect you to personally contribute to the successful operation of our company. Manage procurement resources for new, existing raw materials and spare parts
Ensure continuous supply of materials to the manufacturing unit
Will be responsible for the short-term / long-term coverage management
Maintaining open orders, analyzing delivery delays, assisting in successful inventory execution
Actively participate in the escalation process if needed
Follow process descriptions for all procurement-related activities
Provides support for the procurement activities of finance, production planning, production, warehouse and other departments
Responsible for maintaining relationships between the company and suppliers, stakeholders
Keep reports up to date, keeping in mind the department's KPI indicators
Provide full support to the Purchasing Team Leader
What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Good English language skills (min. B2 level)
At least 1 years of experience in procurement or logistics
High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent communication skills
Be a good team player, but also perform well independently
Deadline oriented and able to work under pressure.
Bonus Points if You Have:
SAP knowledge.
Excellent English skills both written and verbal.
Experience in purchasing/planning at a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inventory management processes.
