- Develop and maintain a suite of reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Tableau applications, ensuring that solutions are visually engaging, user-friendly, and tailored to meet diverse business requirements.
- Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and mapping/design activities, thoroughly documenting processes to guarantee data integrity and support future enhancements.
- Create and optimize database queries to extract, transform, and join data from multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information used in reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive unit tests to verify data accuracy, report functionality, and dashboard performance, proactively addressing any issues identified during testing.
- Prepare and update technical and user documentation for all reports and dashboards, making sure that information is clear, accessible, and supports effective user adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and develop meaningful metrics and key performance indicators that are closely aligned with business goals and strategic priorities.
- Regularly review existing reporting systems and processes, working with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and integrate new systems or data sources as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant work experience; industry experience preferred)
- Years of experience: 2-10+ years in data analysis and business intelligence software (all levels considered; responsibilities and compensation will be matched to experience)
- Solid understanding of Tableau Desktop application and its functionalities
- Experience working with Databricks is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL queries, relational databases, and reporting tools
- Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Scrum and agile methodologies and IT shared service teams/offerings
