On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base., - Perform robotic spot welding, arc welding, spraying, and gluing; design integrated robotic welding systems
- Develop and debug control programs for industrial robots; set up signal interfaces with PLCs and design safety interlocks
- Design communication protocols between robots and PLCs; select suitable robot hardware based on load and reach
- Troubleshoot and maintain robotic systems on-site to ensure continuous operation
- Manage signal interactions between robots and welding equipment, ensuring synchronized operation, - Fluent in English and Hungarian for technical communication and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in robotic systems or industrial automation
- Advanced knowledge of robot programming and debugging (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa)
- Proficient in computer applications, with a solid foundation in automation control and mechanics., ,
