Our passionate, smart, and creative group of more than 1,000 employees support customers around the globe.Position OverviewDiligent are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of automated test design to join our Center for Global Product Innovation in Budapest.The ideal candidate will have proven ability to apply effective analysis, and testing skills to produce and maintain scaled SaaS software solutions. The successful candidate will work as part of an established team who are used to working together to achieve excellent results.They will want to take ownership of the features they are working on, proactively drive improvements in test design and development practices, and work with more junior members of the team to help develop their skills and optimize the performance of the team over time.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with analysis and documentation of technical requirements and user stories for assigned features, in accordance with the agile methodology employed by Diligent.To a reasonable degree of accuracy, definition, and estimation of test development tasks for assigned features and user stories.Design automated test to cover the whole application, occasionally testing manually in accordance with the agile methodology employed by Diligent.Establishing strong support for developers to maintain product quality at a high level.Required Experience/Skills:At least 2 years’ experience in a hands-on automation test development at a commercial software companyISTQB certificate (Foundation level +)Experienced in API and UI testing.Solid understanding of test design techniques and conceptsJavaScript / Typescript programming experienceGood written and oral communications in EnglishExperience with Scrum software development frameworkPreferred but not essential.Experience working with Cypress framework.Experience working with JMeterExperience with Docker image buildExperience with CI/CD pipeline maintenance (GitHub Actions)What Diligent Offers YouCreativity is ingrained in our culture.
