We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023, which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. Solving problems in the production process
Supervising the implementation of the production plan
supervision of the production process in accordance with the documentation
Creating and verifying that assembly procedures and documentation are up to date
Communicating process changes to a team of employees in a subordinate area
Participate in change management in the production process
Defining improvement plans and corrective actions in the subordinate area
Reporting of results
responsibility for achieving departmental goals
Oversee the quality and timeliness of data entered into the system
Creating development plans for subordinate employees with particular emphasis on team leaders
Enforcing work discipline and adherence to procedures by subordinate employees
Stimulating teamwork and individual achievement through delegation of authority and responsibility
Representing the subordinate area during visits and audits
Participate in audits in subordinate area
Accounting for the working time of subordinate employees
Training of subordinate employees
Continuous improvement of qualifications - e.g. participation in trainings
Initiating improvements and stimulating the motivation and creativity of employees
Support the team in achieving established production goals
Conducting evaluations of subordinate employees
Participate in the recruitment of new employees

Requirement:

At least 3 year in manufacturing or engineering environment
Leadership experience
Strong advantage: Higher education completed or in progress in Administration, Engineering (Production, Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics or Metallurgical)
English - able to communicate
Problem solving and decision making skills
LEAN knowledge
Basic knowledge in labour law, EHS regulations
MS Office knowledge
