As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Finance team as a Junior Cost Accounting Analyst on a 1-year definite contract. This position is ideal for fresh graduates looking to kickstart their careers in finance.As a Junior Cost Accounting Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department's efforts in analyzing, monitoring, and controlling costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development, providing exposure to various aspects of cost accounting within a dynamic international business environment.Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis: Assist in analyzing and reporting on production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reconcile inventory records, perform inventory valuation, and ensure accuracy in inventory reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate cost data and assisting in the development of cost projections for future periods.
Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis comparing actual costs to standard costs, investigating discrepancies, and providing insights to management for decision-making purposes.
Month-end Close: Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and participating in financial statement preparation.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in cost accounting procedures and contribute to the implementation of best practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.REQUIREMENTSRequirements

Completed university degree in Economics OR relevant vocational studies
Fluent English written and verbal skills
Data analytics and insight generation
Financial accounting fundamentals
Process management and improvement
Systems and tools management
Business acumen
Experience, intern experience is also considered with audit, BSC, business support, finance and international exposure
