Domain Buyer Packaging/MRO

• Develop & Maintain the commodity strategy and manage the supply base accordingly.
• Responsible for market analysis (benchmark, professional fairs, market trends, innovation...)
• Manage the relationships according to Group purchasing policy.
• Lead the supplier sourcing process in respect of the procedures.
• Lead negotiation with the suppliers and internal customers.
• In charge of contractualization with suppliers.
• Is responsible for the commodity in terms of Q, C, T
• Identify and execute technical and commercial savings.
• Take part or lead internal working groups for technical savings identification or problem-solving.
• Support the problem-solving process.
• Responsible for the risk management of the commodity (financial health of suppliers, M&A, dependence ratio…)
• Commits & Manages the portfolio in line with budget
• Is committed to the respect of legal & environmental rules applicable on its markets.

• You have a successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years (5+ years) of specialised professional experience in the technical purchasing of PACKAGING & MRO in the automotive & international environment.
• You have an in-depth expertise in contract and project management. as well as knowledge of Finance & cash management.
• You have knowledge of the relevant markets and finance & cash management.
• You are a team player with excellent negotiation, assertiveness, and communication skills for a goal- and solution-orientated exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, ideally also German.
