- Network Transformation & OptimizationQualificationsAs a DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on operations and an agile mindset, well-versed in frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, you:- have tangible experience in a DevOps environment with a distinct focus on operations.
possess deep insight into the SDLC, especially the intersection of DevOps and operational activities.
- have built and maintained intricate CI/CD pipelines tailored for stability, reliability, and performance.
- have mastery over tools such as GitLab, GitHub Automation, Jenkins or their equivalents, primarily for automating operational tasks and software delivery.
- seamlessly integrate tasks from SDLC domains (DEV, QA, SEC, OPS) with a keen emphasis on the OPS domain to ensure streamlined delivery.
- are consistently on the lookout for cutting-edge operational technologies and methodologies.
- are adept at scripting (Python, BASH, JS/TS, Ruby, PHP, Groovy) to automate and enhance operational tasks.
- possess a comprehensive understanding of advanced OPS duties, tasks, and challenges, always striving for operational excellence.
- proficiently provision, scale, and maintain infrastructure using IaC and CaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, AWS CF, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- prioritize observability, real-time monitoring, and instant feedback for all operational aspects, ensuring the highest uptime and quick issue resolution.
- have a hands-on approach to monitoring the SDLC, operational workloads, and the solutions deployed.
- are well-acquainted with DORA metrics and, ideally, other key operational performance metrics.
- have an exhaustive understanding, potentially hands-on, of cloud hyperscalers (GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle) and their operational tools and services.
- emphasize rigorous security measures, backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and overall resiliency for all deployed applications.
- have significant experience with container and orchestration technologies, like Docker and K8S, optimized for smooth operational management.Additional Information
