Euronet EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) division seeks to employ a Cost Control Analyst who will join the Controlling Team. The successful candidate will be based in Budapest under the leadership of the Cost Control Manager and will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing all the general costs, CAPEX spending as well as managing the administrative tasks of the shared service center in Budapest.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Business partnership and development· Review and analysis of all general cost elements· Identify cost drivers and provide sound financial guidance to management to support decision-making on cost management· Work closely together and develop partnerships to understand drivers and support agenda with various financial and business stakeholders.Controlling· Monthly review of cost center P&Ls· Monitor spending on a monthly, quarterly and long-term basis· Compare assumptions of the standard cost models with the actual figures· Root cause analysis of variances by drilling down on lower levels, identifying drivers· Participate in monthly reviews with regional management, communicate on main causes of deviations and set action plans accordingly.· Improve and develop cost compliance and processes for budgeting and reportingAccounting activities and related controls· Support monthly closing processes, accounting activities and operate controls effectively.· Ensure compliance including internal and external regulatory requirements.Requirements· University Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related academic field.· A minimum of 3-5 years of business finance or relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment.· Proven experience in cost monitoring and controlling, or similar tasks or projects.· Expertise getting deep into numbers and data, strong attention to details, questioning and reviewing assumptions to generating insights.· Strong communication skills· Ownership mindset, with ability to meet tight deadlines using a logical, methodical approach to prioritization.· Expert in data analysis and visualization, expertise in one or more analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI)· Fluency in English, both verbal and writtenBenefitsWE OFFER:We are an exciting company with an impressive growing track record and wide portfolio of services.
