Job Category: FinanceJob Description:Ford Business Solutions is looking for anEngineering Finance Analystto join our Engineering Controller's Office team in our Szentendre office.Are you ready to take ownership of financial processes that impact strategic decisions in a global organization? As an Engineering Finance Analyst supporting engineering labor and salaried purchase service costs, you'll play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. From month-end close to smart reporting and forecasting, your insights will help shape both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.Responsibilities:What will be your roles and responsibilities in this role?
  • Own monthly close processes related to engineering labor costs - preparing journal entries, reviewing accruals, and supporting account reconciliations.
  • Analyze actual vs. forecast performance, identify variances, and deliver clear insights to business stakeholders.
  • Support business offices in building accurate forecasts and enhancing visibility with improved forecast models and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Cycle Planning team, providing labor cost metrics and financial advice to support decision-making.
  • Control Special Service Requests (SSRs) with our joint venture partner, Ford Otosan, and manage monthly closings related to salaried purchased services.
  • Coordinate billing and reporting with Ford Otosan Finance and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop smart, automated reports that provide actionable insights to analysts, controllers, and senior management.
  • Assist with annual SOX self-assessment testing, ensuring compliance and internal control standards.
Qualifications:Are we looking for you? Yes, if...
  • You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • You bring 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • You're fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • You have strong Excel skills and are confident using other MS Office tools.
  • You understand how the income statement and balance sheet work together.
  • You think analytically, love solving problems, and can make sense of complex data.
  • You're proactive, organized, and able to manage tasks independently without constant supervision
