  • Legal Advice and Strategy: Providing expert legal guidance to various business units, senior management, and stakeholders on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, contracts, and compliance;
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and agreements, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with the organization's interests;
  • Corporate Housekeeping: Managing and keeping up-to-date the company corporate files, drafting corporate documents, filing submissions to courts;
  • Labor and Employment: Providing legal advice and support to a company on matters related to labor and employment law, including hiring, termination, wage and hour issues, discrimination, and employee relations;
  • Representation: Representing the company in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings;
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Compliance: Ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies with special focus to data privacy, Batteries Regulation. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s privacy program in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation;
  • Strategic Initiatives: Supporting strategic initiatives within the department and across the entire business, and other significant business transactions;
  • Training and Development: Providing training and guidance to other members of the legal team and company employees on relevant legal topics;
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Developing and implementing legal policies and procedures to ensure consistent legal practices within the organization;
  • Legal Research: Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations;
  • External Relations: Manage outside counsel and legal budgets.

  • Qualified in Hungary with a bar exam,
  • Advanced business law (5-10 years of) experience (post-bar) as an in-house counsel at a multinational company or a Legal500 (or similar) recognized law firm,
  • Demonstrated experience providing legal support to large companies in a broad range of employment matters.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience in compliance, especially in data protection (DPO experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and own, manage, and develop several practice areas simultaneously with a diligent, rigorous work attitude.
  • Experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business units in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent level of English (written and spoken) is required, Chinese and/or German is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of work.
