As a Lead Buyer, you will be responsible for driving Sourcing processes related to supply chain sourcing operations. Responsibility is to ensure the most efficient and accurate processing of all transactions with the overall goal of minimizing the total cost of transactions while orders are delivered on time and are of high quality.Job DescriptionWhat you’ll doDrive product line level metrics improvement on fulfillment by not hurting cost and quality initiativesSingle point of contact for internal customers. Keep them updated on material arrivals and difficultiesMonitor & supervise PO accuracyManage team on PO placing, need by date update, promise date collection, Invoice issue resolutionSupport Buyers to expedite and prioritize supply chain to meet factory needDevelop strong understanding of suppliers’ capacities, capabilities & processes to be able to improve their performanceSupport new supplier promotion, developmentManage and facilitate visits & regular conference calls with suppliersFocus on key sourcing initiatives, continuous improvement and Lean methodology to mitigate fulfillment riskSupport Inventory preventing early deliveries and focusing on usage of slow moversUpdate safety stock level regularly based on production volumeManage regular forecasting process for stable material inflowDrive new hire training, SOP creation and maintenance.Support NPI activatesWhat you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)Business or Technical University or College degree.Significant experience in sourcing and in implementation of continuous improvement and quality improvement efforts.Fluent English AND Hungarian knowledge is a mustFamiliarity with ERP systems and integrationsProficiency in MS officeWhat will make you stand outExcellent communication, analytical, influencing and presentation skillsTeam player attitudeDemonstrated skill in formal problem solving processes and tools.Strong interpersonal skills; Able to forge internal customer and external supplier relationships.Displays Courage & Candor in a respectful manner with internal stakeholders & customers.Additional Notes:Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of HungaryThis is a hybrid role with two days remote and three days in the office.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
