DESCRIPTIONOur fast growing multinational partner is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of French speaking Lead Accountant, who will report to the EMEA Accounting Manager.Main duties in a nutshell:

Perform general accounting
Actively support the monthly and year-end closing procedures
Review Balance Sheet and P&L
Take part in local statutory and external audits
Preparation of tax returns and financial statements under French GAAP
Monitor acciunting and tax-related issues
Review BS reconciliations done by SSC and make sure accounts are fully reconciled
Provide cross-functional support

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor´s Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent (CPA qualification is an advantage)
At least 5 years of GL or R2R related experience in an industrial or SSC environment
Solid understanding of French GAAP
Fluency in French and English is a must
Oracle knowledge is an advantage
Self-motivated personality
