- University degree in IT, Engeneering or Informatics field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Release Management or Change Management (or as a project manager or deployment lead)
- Strong global experience in ERP system
- In-depth understanding of Prince 2 project management principles and their practical use in a global multinational environment
- Thorough understanding of project phases, test cycles, entry and exit gate criteria management
- Demonstrable knowledge of project lifecycle management
- In SAP environment, interpreting changes and translating technical language for the project manager is expected
- SAP technical background in S4 HANA is an advantage (especially in transport management)
- Solution Manager CHaRM experience is an advantage
- Design, coordinate, facilitate, and execute the Release Management process for SAP S4 HANA Releases.
- Implement a procedure to manage and monitor business change requests (CRs). Analyze, categorize, prioritize, and track all CRs received from the business.
- Collaborate with different projects/teams within the company to facilitate the technical deployment of diverse solutions and third-party applications.
- Provide process guidance on SAP Transports and Tools, including Solution Manager and Change Request Management (ChaRM), to project teams as well as ticket-based transportation managed from ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with functional and development teams to ensure that SAP transport processes and related change controls are properly implemented.
- Create, maintain and communicate the release schedule for both rollout projects and live units.
- Actively drive continuous process improvement in release management, change management (including technical changes), SAP basis, and SAP Technical Architecture.
- Establish and maintain metrics/reporting on release content and effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and measure periodic KPIs and metrics for senior management to assess performance against current SLAs.
- Enhance SLA and KPI measurements to address emerging needs. Identify process design issues and flaws, and develop, test, implement, and measure new process implementations and enhancements.
- Intervene proactively and reactively to ensure service delivery quality. Address other related problem resolutions as requested by the reporting manage.
