Come, create an exceptional future.As the Data and Diagnostics Specialist, you will support the delivery of new data and diagnostics for systems within Body engineering. By developing new diagnostic strategies, you will be working with our data science teams to identify vehicles that have developing issues across the world. These new strategies will also increase component and system quality whilst allowing data driven decisions to be made on next generation features.WHAT TO EXPECTIn this role, no two tasks are the same. - Be responsible for implementing new strategies, processes and techniques to prioritise projects.
- Support and develop the implementation of new data based on use case and quality history.
- Develop and implement prognostic models to predict system/component failures and estimate remaining useful life.
- Support data analysis and problem-solving activities on Body systems.
- Providing ongoing coaching and oversight for the development of analytics and prognostics.
- Clear understanding and knowledge of Data Identifier's (DID's), or other data feed that recognise life and use
- case of components.
- Proven expertise in statistical techniques. e.g. Reliability / hypothesis testing /.
- Strong, structured failure mode avoidance and problem-solving capability.
- Experience with visualisation and pipeline tools. e.g. Tableau/SQL/AWS.
- Awareness of vehicle systems and how they interact.
- Self-starting and able to dictate where to focus based on team / business needs.
- Capable of instilling trust in teams and creating transparency in the organisation.
- Experience in leading Systems Engineering projects and in solving complex technical issues using a structured
- approach.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified.
- Experience of cross functional co-ordination in Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Quality.
- Experience of logging vehicle signals (Ethernet / Flex-Ray / CAN / LIN).
- Ability to deliver presentations to work groups and senior management.
- Clear understanding and knowledge of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Familiar with Agile method.
