- Develop and test programs using SQL, PL/SQL for DW/BI applications
- Work with the business analysts to fully understand the business requirements and assure that the project deliverables are fulfilling these
- Develop technical specifications for projects
- Design data processing pipelines
- Perform code reviews to identify basic technical and logical errors
- Actively drive standardization and optimization of software development
- Develop best practices to improve productivity and utilize programming principles, tools, and techniques to write solution codes
- Discover and try new technologies to enhance the product and make it up-to-date from technical perspective
- Follow corporate standards and recommendations at developments
- Analyse and fix possible issues during the ETL processes
- High level knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience working with relational databases
- Current experience and expertise with Oracle 19c or newer version
- Hands on experience in one or more ETL tools
- Knowledge of Version controlling tools (especially: Git\SVN)
- Hands on experience with Jenkins.
- Data Warehouse background, accumulating experience in enterprise environment
- Basic knowledge of Data Lake and Data Vaults
- SQL database integration (Oracle and Postgres)
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (especially: Azure, OCI, AWS)
- Strong experience in working with Business Analysts or Business Customers for requirements definition and transforming these into technical design
- TDD approach is an advantage.
- Strong aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and tools
- Self-driven with and ability to work closely with business analysts and development team to work towards quality product rollout
- Experience with any insurance company
- Demonstrated experience with software development life cycle methodologies, including agile (Scrum).
- 5+ years of experience working with PL/SQL would be the right level of experience for this role.
