- Support in designing and operating the Data Governance framework at Vodafone Hungary, act as an ambassador of Data Governance function
- Ensuring coherence and integration of data quality framework with our corporate data governance policies and standards
- Proactively expanding the data quality framework by identifying opportunities (uncovered data domains, data transformation issues, fulfilment of business needs, etc.) To improve data quality and integrity
- Working with business and analytics teams to identify solutions to data quality issues guaranteeing smooth and reliable run of our business reports and KPIs
- Ensuring coherence and integration of data quality framework with our corporate data governance policies and standards
- Communicating the direct impact of data quality checks and balances on business decisions, improving users' trust and confidence in the data products
- Supporting cross-functional teams in critical issues (e.g.: bug fixes, DWH deployments, KPI changes, etc) by making impact analyses based on end-to-end data lineage
- Keep up to date our Data Catalogue, business and technical metadata related to our main data domains, document new data sources
- 3+ years working experience, 1-2 years in relevant area
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
- Motivated to learn and improve current skills and qualities
- Fluent English in written and oral
- Ability to learn and translate business requirements into IT/technology related developments
- Confident SQL knowledge
- Experience with Python, BigQuery is a plus
- Strong analytic skills related to working with structured/unstructured datasets
- Interest and passion for working in a complex data domain and dynamic business environment, solving challenging problems, and supporting transformation
- Experience with any data governance tool is an advantage
- Telecommunication background is a plus
- Experience in data quality is plus, including:
-Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues
-Experience with data integration and data profiling tools, automation of processes
-Experience with data standards and ontologies
-Up-to-date expertise in data analysis with a focus on data quality and governance conceptsWhat we offer
