Our client is a well-established manufacturing company, recognized as a leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. They are currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their finance team and support the transition of the AP processes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts payable and leading a team. Strong English and Spanish skills are required for this role.Main responsibilities:

Supervise a team of (Senior) Accountants to ensure the accurate delivery of financial services to all clients
Oversee daily team activities, manage workload distribution, plan staffing needs, and recruit new members based on projected demand
Actively contribute to the migration of accounting operations from various European branches to Hungary
Collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to build strong professional relationships
Take part in daily accounting tasks and contribute to regular financial close activities
Recognize, analyze, and address operational challenges, including opportunities for workflow enhancement
Deliver high-quality service to internal and external customers

Required skills:

Willingness to travel 2-6 weeks to Spain
Preferred degree in Economics or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in leading a team
Proficient in English and Spanish
Commitment to continuous improvement and quality
Strong focus on customer satisfaction
