- Planning, monitoring and control of the set-up processes for each release
- Coordination and consultation with internal customers, IT units and ABS architecture
- Optimisation and documentation of existing ABS release and deployment processes
- Modelling and packaging of the application software (ABS) including 3rd party components
- Provision of clients, as well as server and host components for testing and production using existing tools
- Assignment of VDI rights to use the test pools
- Creating installation masters and checking the functionality and installability of the software
- Support and further development of release management/workflow tools for the management of regular major, minor update and hotfix releases
- Documentation of release and deployment processes and defects in Wiki/Jira
- Approval of pull requests in hotfix phases
- Inter-company communication and coordination of defined processes
- IT training or studies in (business) informatics and proven IT professional experience of 4-5 years
- Entrepreneurial thinking and analytical skills, as well as a goal- and performance-orientated way of working with a high level of quality awareness and customer focus, coupled with good communication skills, especially in complex situations.
- Very good knowledge of insurance-related IT processes (especially batches, backups, etc. and online dependencies with web/client applications)
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, high resilience and social competence, as well as a pronounced ability to deal with conflict together with a convincing demeanour, assertiveness and willingness to make decisions
- Interest in challenging technical issues and further developments
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty and weekend assignments, very good written and spoken German and good English skills
- Independent and autonomous way of working as well as high problem-solving skills with the inclusion of several sources of information
- Project management experience and experience in the application of agile methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) are an advantage
