Senior Category Buyer - DirectShape the Future of Sustainable SourcingAt Grundfos, we are driven by a powerful purpose: to pioneer solutions to the world's water and climate challenges and improve the quality of life for people. As a Senior Category Buyer - Direct, you'll play a key role in driving value-based sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier performance, and contributing to innovation and sustainability across our global supply chain.This is a new role, where you will work as a pivotal member of a much larger project related to supplier resilience.This role will be based in Székesfehervár, Hungary and will report to the Purchasing Manager.What you'll do:

Support and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with the Category Manager.
Lead tendering processes including eRFIs, RFQs, and e-auctions.
Prepare data and fact packs for supplier negotiations and contract implementation.
Monitor supplier performance and support improvement initiatives.
Participate in developing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies.
Ensure accurate vendor master data and purchasing conditions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Product Development.

Your background:

Relevant commercial or technical education (apprenticeship, associate degree, or equivalent).
3+ years of experience in a similar purchasing or sourcing role.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Knowledge of procurement best practices, systems, and tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global matrix environment
Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Strong relationship builder and team player.
Skilled in following procedures and delivering results.
Comfortable working with data, contracts, and supplier performance metrics
Driving license
