- Oversight of owned business processes ensuring they are completed accurately, timely and within requirements outlined within the Financial Management Handbook and SLA agreement with Shared Services customers.
- Working with team members of an external outsourcing company and leads to ensure process quality standards are maintained.
- Assisting with an external outsourcing company and customer inquiries regarding owned processes as they occur.
- Continuously work on escalations received directly from an external outsourcing company.
- Escalation of excessive process inquiries or quality issues to Arconic management.
- Support team member of an external outsourcing company with trainings, sharing best practices and transition.
- Expression of ideas to support process improvements.
- Complete or assist with complex journal entries that are not owned by an external outsourcing company.
- Oversight and assistance with closing activities related to assigned locations.
- Documentation of new customer requests and working with an external outsourcing company to identify standard deliverable requirements.
- Usage and application of Oracle financial modules.
- Approval sign-off for assigned Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review and sign-off of assigned ASAT testing
- Review and submission of deliverables prepared by an external outsourcing company.
- Assist resource units, business units, locations and Arconic leadership with adhoc requests and projects.
- Participate as needed in the regular work of other areas within resource unit (eg. Fixed Assets, Project Accounting).
- Secondary school certificate specialized at finance and accounting / degree in finance or accounting obtained at a college or university or CPA certificate.
- English and Hungarian language skills. Additional European language knowledge may be needed depending on the language requirements of the Arconic location handled.
- 5+ years of experience gained in financial areas.
- Thorough knowledge of Chart of Accounts and Arconic Financial Management Handbook in his/her area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of the accounting standards.
- Knowledge of integrated financial software.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial Modules.
- Computer skills.
- Good problem solving and communication ability.
